Staff and executives receive a warm welcome from the Chamber and business community.
Heritage Bank recently stepped into the Sioux Falls market re-introducing some folks who are familiar faces in the Sioux Falls area. Long-time residents Dave Brown and Dave Eiesland were representing Heritage Bank at the Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Tuesday, Feb. 24.
Employee-owners of Heritage Bank, members of the Sioux Falls Chamber and other business people were among the 100 guests in attendance at the Hilton Garden Inn welcoming Heritage Bank as a new member of the Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce. “We are so thankful that the business community gave us such a warm welcome!” Market President Dave Brown said. “Our staff is energized by the opportunities that will come with the Sioux Falls market.”
Dave Eiesland, Business Relationship Manager, is already experiencing the positive business climate in Sioux Falls, thanks in part to the Chamber’s efforts in recognizing Heritage Bank as a new member. “As a commercial lender, I find that going to my client’s place of business helps to build a stronger relationship,” Eiesland said. “Spending time with my client and learning his business is integral to the process.”
In recent years, the business of banking has changed dramatically which inspired Heritage to launch into the Sioux Falls market in a non-traditional manner. “As advances in technology streamline many of the banking services, business customers rely less on a brick-and-mortar building,” Tom Geiger, CEO of Heritage Bank, said. “Without a physical location in Sioux Falls, Heritage Bank is relying on Brown and Eiesland to establish our footings for solid relationships based on quality service.”
Heritage Bank, N.A. services over $600 million of loans with clients spread throughout northwestern Iowa, the southern half of Minnesota, and eastern South Dakota. “Heritage Bank has a unique entrepreneurial model for business banking,” Geiger said. “I believe our friends in Sioux Falls will find the Heritage approach refreshing.”
