What you need to know:
Update your Contact Information
Please make sure we have your current contact information. Use the Contact Us button in online banking to update your mailing address, phone number and email address so you do not miss notices for the banking services you use!
Online Payments and Transfers
ePay Online Bill Pay will be restricted starting at 8:00 a.m. CT on Monday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 12 while your payment information transitions to our new platform at myHeritage Bank. Click for more details.
Bank-to-bank transfers will not be available starting at 4:00 p.m. CST on Monday, Oct. 5. Once the conversion is complete, customers can re-register for bank-to-bank transfers and external accounts will need to be re-established. Click for more details.
Payments pulled from your account via ACH (automatic clearing house) to pay bills such as utility, cell phone, or credit card will not be affected. This also applies to deposits that are made via ACH. Your account number and our bank routing number will stay the same, so this process will stay in place. As always, we recommend that you continue to monitor your digital banking to ensure these payments are made accurately.
If you have authorized Heritage Bank to pull funds via ACH from another bank to make a loan payment for your Heritage Bank loan, this will not be changing. While your loan number will be changing slightly, your payments will be made without interruption. As always, we recommend that you continue to monitor your digital banking to ensure these payments are made accurately.
Quicken, QuickBooks or Mint users: More Info to come!
Debit Cards and ATMs
Your current debit cards will not change. You can continue using them as usual, but you will not be able to make deposits or check your balance at an ATM during our transition (October 8-11).
Our Hybrid ATMs will be out of service for a few days prior to this transition. We expect service to be interrupted October 6-8, but our drive up lanes and night depositories will be available.
Online and Mobile Banking
You will see a link on our website for our new digital platform called myHeritage Bank. Old bookmarked links will no longer work.
Our new myHeritage Bank mobile app will be available early in the week following the transition.
The app will automatically update for iPhone users. Android users will need to delete the old app and download the new app from the app store.
- If you currently have multiple logins to your mobile banking, you will need to re-establish each of those logins.
- To log in for the first time, enter your current User ID. Your initial password will be your User ID plus the last four digits of your personal Social Security Number. After you are logged in, it will prompt you to set a secure password of your own.
- Since this is a new platform, we want to make sure your information is secure! In order to do that, you will need to re-establish security questions. This is how we verify that you are the accountholder if you log in from a different device.
- Transaction alerts will need to be reset.
Click the button below to go to myHeritage Bank Digital Banking or download our app from the app store!
Statements, Notices and Alerts
eStatements – as part of this transition, all customers will be mailed a paper statement on October 8, even if you are enrolled in eStatements.
eStatements and check images from the past 24 months will eventually be available for online viewing, but there might be a delay with the conversion. Statements from more than 2 years ago will not be available for viewing from digital banking even after the conversion is complete. We strongly recommend you save or print any past statements (prior to October 2018) you may need.
eNotices – Beginning October 1, if you were receiving eNotices, there will be a temporary change to paper notices.
Alerts – any account or transaction alerts you had previously set in online banking will need to be re-established in myHeritage Bank after October 12.
