Heritage Bank is committed to the communities we serve! We understand the value of reinvesting our time, talent and resources to supporting local economic development organizations and our employee-owners are personally engaged in civic groups and community events. Our purpose is to help people achieve financial success, and our commitment to this begins with giving back to the communities where we live and work.
Community Reinvestment Act Information
Community reinvestment at Heritage Bank is consistent with our core purpose of helping people achieve financial success. By focusing our efforts to support qualifying activities within our designated assessment areas, we also are mindful of our legal responsibility under the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).
It is important to us to use our resources wisely to achieve the maximum benefit for the communities, and our donation request form helps assure we are doing that.
If you would like additional information about Heritage Bank and our involvement in your community, we invite you to contact our Heritage Bank employee-owners.
March Food Drive
Achieving financial goals begins with meeting basic needs like affordable food to put on the table. Each year in March, our employee-owners host a bank-wide food drive to benefit local foodshelf organizations. Providing basic groceries can improve wellness, reduce the cost of living, help children perform better in school and give families a chance to save money. These steps are critical to help create a path to greater financial success.
United Way Campaigns
Heritage Bank partners with United Way to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our communities to create lasting change. We are a part of thriving communities where people are inspired to act and organizations have the resources they need to succeed. Our goal is to create successful communities, where people are inspired to act and where organizations have the resources they need to succeed.
Blood Donation Events
Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood and more than 41,000 blood donations are needed every day, according to the American Red Cross. The employee-owners at Heritage Bank truly reinvest in the communities where they live and work by giving the gift of life each time they donate blood or volunteer at a local drive. Contact your local Heritage Bank about our April Blood Drives.
To help set young people on a path toward financial success, Heritage Bank provides financial scholarships to public high school graduating seniors in the communities we serve. Our scholarships are awarded to college-bound graduates and selection is made based on academic excellence, involvement, and leadership. We want to ensure that young people have the best chance to develop into future leaders.
